About

I grew up feeling pretty isolated, and over time, I learned to make myself small. As a queer, Black, and Indigenous woman, there weren’t many spaces that taught me to celebrate my identity. Instead, I learned to ignore my needs, navigating life while overlooking my experiences with grief, abuse, and sexual violence.

Before becoming a Masters level clinician, I embarked on my own healing journey, which taught me that growth and recovery is a long and non-linear process. Most importantly, I discovered that the most radical act we can commit is one of self-love.

As a counselor, I want to work alongside you as we learn to embrace your true self and reconnect with your voice, needs, and desires. I believe deeply in the power of storytelling and emotional expression as pathways to healing. My approach is grounded in understanding how our past shapes our present, and I am passionate about helping others feel more connected, empowered, and at peace within themselves.

Who is your ideal client?

My ideal client likely feels disconnected or overwhelmed by the patterns in their relationships and emotional landscape. They may carry the weight of trauma and grief, and they are ready to explore who they are beyond their past experiences. They may struggle with fully knowing or trusting themselves, yet they are prepared to search for and reconnect with their inner voice. I am here for those who feel uncertain about their path forward but are willing to try moving forward anyway. Let’s co-create a practice of self-discovery, mindfulness, forgiveness, and nourishment as we figure out what forward means to you.

Together, we can rewrite the stories we tell ourselves to create new possibilities in our lives. In our sessions, you’ll be met with curiosity, authenticity, and warmth as we uncover the deep-rooted patterns influencing your relationships and emotional well-being. Today, it might not feel like you have any options left. But as a team, we can dig deep and unlock the power of choice to invest in the future you deserve.

How does your practice affirm BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals?

I strive to create a safe and affirming space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals by honoring the fullness of their identities and lived experiences. I understand the unique challenges of navigating systems that often overlook or diminish us, and I want to celebrate the strength and resilience that come from those journeys. By centering our voices, stories, and truths, we can reclaim the narratives written for us, transforming them into affirmations of power, self-love, and liberation. Together, we will explore what healing means for you, affirming your identity and embracing the wholeness of who you are.
