Training and Technical Assistance

You Are More Than offers a wide array of Training and Technical Assistance programming to Community Organizations, Mental Health Providers, Government Agencies, and National Conferences.

Our curriculum is designed to encourage survivor-centered, social justice, and anti-racist practices when serving survivors of trafficking in clinical settings and nonprofit agencies to reduce the harm that many survivors face when interacting with providers in their local communities.

YAMT offers trainers who have skills in clinical mental health care for those impacted by the commercial sex industry, racial justice work, supporting LGBTQ+ individuals foster/care and systems involved survivors, criminal justice and restorative care, substance use, survivor-centered organizational care and programming, gender-based violence and more!

To extend the national community’s capacity for survivor-informed service provision, we broadened the Wellness Center’s reach to launch the Nurture Forward Directory in 2021. This directory is the first of its kind in the US, bridging the gap between culturally informed providers and domestic trafficking survivors seeking care.  This offering includes providers who provide low-cost or free services, and all clinicians listed in the directory receive monthly, skills-based professional development from YAMT.
