A little about me:
I am a queer survivor leader, holistic healing arts facilitator & trauma informed educator based in Philadelphia. In my healing arts practice, I offer trauma informed yoga & meditation, somatic practices, energy work, lifestyle coaching & community herbalism as modalities to find deeper presence in our bodies, minds & world. I am unendingly grateful to have been introduced to the practices of yoga & meditation as a young child, as they have been a source of profound nourishment & the foundation of my recovery.
Being able to train extensively in facilitating these ancient mind/body healing traditions is a massive privilege that I seek to share within our survivor community. I am also deeply committed to decolonization, community activism, spontaneous midday dance parties & restorative justice.
What peer mentor relationships do you thrive in?
I find fulfillment in resourcing fellow survivors with practical, embodied tools to empower them in their own healing journeys. I am passionate about sharing practices that can support us all on our paths toward freedom & safety, both in our own bodies & within the collective.
I love supporting others in cultivating resilience skills such as healthy boundaries, strong self care routines & dismantling limiting beliefs. I also value the process of companioning fellow survivors through life transitions & being a safe landing space when one is needed.
What made you become a peer mentor?
My own healing journey was incredibly lonely, until I was finally able to find likeminded community, mentors & survivor kin. My hope is that through mentoring, I can ease some of that loneliness for others & continue to cultivate community.
I believe that healing is an ongoing journey, not a destination or end point. In that journey, companionship & community are precious. I also believe healing is both our birthright & the way we end cycles of harm & trauma for future generations.

How do you take care of yourself when helping others?
I have a strong connection to plants & nature; I live in a tiny indoor jungle of 100+ houseplants, am currently in school for clinical herbalism, hike as often as I can & volunteer at a local urban farm. When I am not playing in the dirt you can find me cooking, gazing at the moon, reading under a cozy blanket or nerding out on astrology with a mug of tea in hand.
